Bam Margera: Brad Pitt Texted Me After Ryan Dunn's Death

Bam Margera isn't afraid to share his grief with the world.
In a searingly honest and emotional new interview, the Jackass star opens up about last week's drunk driving death of his friend Ryan Dunn -- and how superstars, including Brad Pitt, have reached out.
"I think it's rad that, you know, people I talk to rarely, you know, can take the time to text me," Margera told E! News of condolence wishes from Pitt, 47, and others. (Pitt played himself in a 2002 Jackass sketch.)

"He was my best f--king friend in the world. It's been five days now and I can't stop crying man," Margera said of Dunn, who was just 34 when he crashed his Porsche in rural Pennsylvania last Monday, instantly killing him and passenger Zachary Hartwell.
Dunn's blood-alcohol level was a staggering .196, and he was driving over 140 miles an hour.

"I just don't think it should've been him," added Margera, who was in Arizona when his brother gave him the heartbreaking news over the phone.

"It was pretty much the worst news I've ever heard in my life."
Eerily, Margera and Dunn were involved in a non-fatal crash in the same area years ago, he says. "He flipped me in a car eight times at the same exact spot in 1996. Thank God I had my seat belt on, because Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn't have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he's alive. But like, Dunn was always a maniac at driving."

The last text Margera got from his buddy? "Stopping for a beer, be there when I can."

Emma Watson goes really low-key for canvas pose

Emma Watson has revealed that she had a low-key experience of doing her own make-up and choosing her own clothes when she posed for a series of paintings.

The 'Harry Potter' actress worked with artist Mark Demsteader on the new exhibition, which will benefit the African charity CAMFED, and she admitted being on such a low-key set, which didn't have a team of stylists and make-up professionals, was a strange experience.

As it takes Mark several months to create the pieces, he finds it easier to work from photographs so I met him and a photographer for a day's photo shoot in north London back in January, Contactmusic quoted Watson as telling UK Vogue.

It was a really simple shoot with just a single light to cast shadows. We took lots of pictures in a variety of poses and Mark went away and selected 30 or so to turn into paintings.

Whilst I didn't sit for Mark as such, it was a completely different photo shoot to anything I've ever done before. It was really low-key - I did my own makeup and just brought a selection of very simple dresses for the silhouette. Mark did the lighting, she revealed.

Miracle of the Day
Gods Favor

"Wow I dont even know where to begin. Ill try to be brief. My wife has been on a career path towards becoming a full fledge English educator. At least 10 years ago she decided to go back to college to finish her B.A degree. She started with a class here and there, attending part-time, weekends as well. Before we relocated to GA from NY, she finally did complete her studies. Our prayer is that God would open a door for her to teach in the state of GA. To do that she needed to take a pass the Praxis exams, on which there are two of them. She passed the 1st one, and shortly after began "subing" in the school district. She was then hired as permanent sub, whereby she went to the same school, same classroom each day. The schools primary teacher went out on indefinite leave. Thanks be to God, my wife did such a good job that the principal interviewed her, offered her a FT teaching position, but my wife had the pass the Praxis II exam. Remember I said there were two exams. My wife took the II exam, and did not pass. By this time the principal has already sent in all her paperwork to HR, has my wife on her org chart, contracts are being sent to my wife from the state, but my wife was still lacking this one state certification. My wife took the exam a second time, and unfortunately missed it by 9 points. At this point she thought it was over - her career that is. We would need a MIRACLE from God to somehow allow this opportunity to go forth in spite of my wife still needing to clear one final hurdle. Soon after my wife had to make what was undoubtedly the hardest phone call ever. She needed to tell those who offered here the FT teaching position that she wouldnt be able to do it as she didnt score a passing grade. In comes the MIRACLE. Do you know that the principal, and the head of the HR division for educators all went to bat for my wife. It doesnt make sense, as we have no other relationship with these folks. All we can say is that God worked a Miracle and gave my wife Favor unlike anything weve even seen before. My wifes situation went beyond the final hour. It appeared that this deal was dead, but God ... She reports to work in August and is there newest English teacher. He is a miracle working God"
